Yes, our store is Indigenous-owned! We are Hidatsa & Lakota and enrolled members of the MHA Nation. We are committed to honoring sustainable, secondhand living as a way to care for Mother Earth.
Are you a non-profit?
No, we are not a nonprofit. We operate as a small business with a mission to promote secondhand shopping and sustainability while supporting our local community.
Do you still take donations?
Yes! We gladly accept donations of gently used clothing, accessories, and home goods. Your donations help keep quality items in circulation and support our efforts to make sustainable shopping more accessible.
What is Flipstone Marketplace?
Flipstone Marketplace is our curated online destination for secondhand lovers, where shoppers can discover unique, high-quality vintage and upcycled pieces from trusted sellers. Unlike mass-market resell platforms, Flipstone is carefully curated to showcase vendors who specialize in vintage decor, clothing, jewelry, and upcycled secondhand goods—each with a distinctive style and a strong presence in the secondhand community.
Our goal is to create a trusted, well-vetted marketplace that ensures both sellers and customers have a seamless, high-quality experience.
Why do I have multiple checkout carts?
Because Flipstone Marketplace features multiple sellers, each vendor handles their own shipping and sets their own rates. When you add items from different sellers, they go into separate carts so each vendor can process and ship your order correctly. This ensures that shipping costs are accurate for each seller.
When will I receive my order?
We typically process and ship orders within 2 weeks on most items.
Thrift bundles take time to source and curate. If you order a bundle, it can take 3-5 weeks for your bundle to ship after you have completed your Style Questionnaire. A bundle cannot be started on before you have submitted your questionnaire. So, the quicker you get that done, the quicker we can start on fulfilling your order!
Marketplace vendors are in charge of fulfilling and sending orders from their shop. We strongly encourage vendors to ship within 1 week of your order, but actual shipping time is out of our control. If you have an issue with a Marketplace vendor not fulfilling your order in a timely manner, please reach out to us!
Shipping times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way!

What is your return policy?

We will refund if the item never arrives, arrives damaged, or is not as described. You have 7 days after delivery to contact us about any damage or issues with your order. All other items are final and we do not give refunds on any sales.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. However, we are a vintage and used-goods store. The majority of our pieces will have age-related character, as to be expected. We do our best to provide clear photos and descriptions of each piece. These are not considered flaws or damage to the items but age and character! Please look through pictures and read descriptions carefully before purchasing.
